Our Programs

Head Start

At CLC, our infant, toddler & preschool classrooms utilize high-quality, comprehensive resources which empower educators to intentionally teach & care for our youngest learners during their most critical and formative years of development.

Programs include Early Head Start and Little Ducklings for infant through preschool, as well as Head Start, School Readiness and Child Development for preschool. Eligibility is different for each program and programs are housed at eight locations in Stamford.

CLC is proud to implement The Creative Curriculum in all programs. This research-based model supports the development of the whole child.

Our programs are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

At CLC, social and emotional development is also a crucial part of our programs. Yale researchers, along with CLC teachers, administrators, children and families have created the first early childhood version of the breakthrough RULER program. RULER is an evidence-based approach to social and emotional learning that is now embedded in all of our programs.

We have several educational partners within the community to enrich our children’s learning experience. Many of these programs are continuing virtually at this time, due to COVID-19 safety precautions.
